This website offers many resources that demonstrate how to create a model of quality legal representation for youth. On the site, you can find explanations of the QIC best practice model and six core skills, youth representation evaluations, policy recommendations, a 50-state summary of laws regarding youth representation, model legislation, scholarly articles, and training resources. You can use these resources to gain an in-depth view of one researched and evaluated model of youth representation and decide what aspects, if any, of this and the other cited models may work in your jurisdiction. You can also use the training materials to create or support quality legal representation trainings in your jurisdictions. You may also want to use the research and evaluations as starting points for what outcomes to measure to determine the quality of legal representation in your jurisdiction.
